Zombie’s part I

I would like to start out this expedition into a semi plausible scenario, by stating some obvious assumptions. The first of which is that a zombie outbreak could happen; seems logical with all the other medical things happening in the world. Another grand assumption is that I would somehow not become infected or stranded/immobile during the initial stages of the outbreak. I am also assuming that my friends will somehow avoid infection as well and we manage to meet up. With those three main assumptions taken care of, lets get started…

I believe that after the initial detection of the outbreak, most, if not all, governments would declare martial law and mandate that everyone stay in; life would come to a stand still as the governments of the world try to eradicate the plague of zombies. I assume it will start in one corner of the world and be spread by an airplane load of passengers. They would become infected just by touching an infected surface. If it is airborne, then this expedition ends here and now as the chances of a winnable solution become zero. I believe governments would probably end up destroying whole cities in an attempt to curb the spread of the outbreak and lawlessness would become paramount throughout the world as fear of being in the next destroyed city takes over.
